TIRE FLAWS REPORTEDLY KNOWN IN 1996 KEPT
QUIET BY LAWYERS. A pattern of failures of the Firestone ATX tires on Ford Explorer
sport utility vehicles were not disclosed to government safety regulators for four long years because personal injury lawyers
felt it was in the best interest of their private cases.
This was reported by Keith Bradsher in a New York Times News Service release.
It has been estimated that a considerable number of deaths needlessly occurred as a direct result of this delay.
PUBLIC SAFETY REGULARLY THREATENED BY SECRECY
ARRANGEMENTS IN OUR LEGAL SYSTEM. Michael McCauley, the media director for the
West Coast Regional Office of the Consumers Union reports that, "Court secrecy poses a real threat to our health and safety..."
He further reports that, "According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration,
there have been 148 deaths and 525 injuries linked to Firestone tire tread separations. Many of these deaths and injuries
may have been prevented if the documents produced during these lawsuits had been made public."
ABOUT THE DICTATORIAL HOLD ON AMERICA
BY LAWYERS. Paul Cowan did a little research into divorce law at a local Michigan
law library to help his daughter in a child custody matter. For this he was prosecuted.
In Pennsylvania, Melissa Shank provided a little help to a neighbor who was filing
papers concerning a traffic infraction. For this she was put in jail.
These are just two of the counless numbers being persecuted for this sort of thing
and in this manner. Welcome to America.
