MY PLEDGE
1. I will stand firm for a return
to Constitutional law. I will work hard to halt the practice of legislation by judges.
2. Before any government financial
allocations are to be made, I will always consider where that money is coming from --- where it's really coming from,
from the people --- and to make this issue known publicly.
3. Whenever I propose a new law,
I will always make every effort to include a proposal to eliminate at least one existing law which is obsolete, ineffective,
unnecessary or otherwise inappropriate.
4. I will always consider whether
it's the people or special interests who want new laws that are being considered. If it is not in the people's
best interest, I will always vote against such laws.
5. I promise to do all that I can
to reduce and to eliminate as much of the oversized government bureaucracy as possible and return our nation to fiscal responsibility.
6. At every opportunity, I will
work hard to create and implement major reform in the American legal system.
7. I will always consider my constituents
first, last and always. I will not forget that I am an elected employee of the voters.
8. I pledge myself to a high moral
and ethical standard which, if breached, will result in my promise and implementation of resignation from office.
9. I will do all that I can to keep
the government power of eminent domain from being used as an instrument of plunder by private interests. I will do all
that I can to maintain the strongest possible freedom of property ownership for the people.
10. I can be counted on to do all
that is possible to maintain secure borders for the protection of our people, for such protection is one of the most important
of my responsibilities.
