   It's good to hear from you.  If you got our e-mail address from our "GettingAmericaBack.org" web site, you can already see some of the many possibilities for personal involvement. If not, it's a really good place to start.  (And, if you have checked out some of the site's content, this information should also help.)

   What I would suggest is that you might want to start with what one might call "a personal inventory."  That means, asking yourself a lot of the right questions, such as:  What communication talents, networking abilities, organizational and educational capabilities can I bring to the table?

   Almost all of us have at least some of these abilities and other abilities I haven't even mentioned.  Are you a good conversationalist?  Do you know a reasonable number of people?  Are you good at reaching out to others?  Are you good at organizing and setting up projects?  Are you willing to learn and teach others?

   Next, you, and possibly friends who also wish to be involved, might want to check out certain pages on the noted web site.  You can see, by the page titles, that there are several areas of possible involvement that are exampled.  You can also see that there are a few pages that have inspirational videos you might want to check out.  And you can see that, near the end of the list of pages (on the left side of the screen, on the site) there are two special resource pages listed.  Take advantage of these pages as well.

   How might you want to start?  Possibly with your own local study group that will meet on a regular basis.  Then, you might want to contact any local talk show that might emanate from your area.  Tell them of your concerns and ask for folks to join in with you, in your efforts to learn more and to get involved.

   Always feel free to utilize this web site of ours and let others know about it as well.  You can print out what you want from its pages and I will be available to assist you in other ways as well.

   Might you be interested in having local Town Meetings to discuss our many mutual problems?  We have a page that's involved with that idea as well.  And how about a campaign of Letters to the Editors of local publications?  You might consider some national publications as well.
